Restaurant Lamm in Heimbuchenthal

The Hotel Lamm is a first-class place to spend the night, go hiking and relax in a wellness area in the Spessart. Heimbuchenthal itself is manageable and offers nothing of interest itself. The Hotel Lamm is very spacious, well equipped and ideal for a few days of relaxation. Our room in the main building was large and well equipped. The dinner was excellent, the breakfast buffet was above average. Access and parking is also very good. The hotel is a good starting point for hikes and excursions in the Spessart. The only point of criticism is the service at reception. You really had to ask for information. Virtually no information was given by itself. If I had any questions, I would have expected a little more friendliness and courtesy, but maybe that's a regional peculiarity. Overall, however, absolutely recommendable and worth the trip.

Hello, booked a room with my girlfriend from Saturday to Sunday. It was agreed by email that we could arrive on Saturday around 2 p.m. When we were at the reception at 2:10 p.m. we were told that the royal massages were already planned for 2:00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. We then rushed to our room, got changed and went for a massage. We asked the masseuses to massage us at least for the rest of the time, which they then did. Unfortunately, there wasn't much left of the hour-long massage. Our booking confirmation said that checkout is possible until 4 p.m. In fact, we were called on Sunday at 12 noon and asked to check out. At the reception we were told that the information about the checkout on the booking confirmation was out of date. All in all a disappointing stay. Mistakes never happen, but dealing with them was not really professional. Nobody felt really responsible for it and there was no real excuse. There was no price reduction. When we left, we got a piccolo, a canned sausage and a jam (with an expiry date of December 15, 2020) as compensation.

We spend five wonderful days here. Our room was nice and cozy, quiet and clean. There are also shutters here, so you can sleep wonderfully. The staff attentive and friendly. There is a lot of choice at breakfast and because the staff selects breakfast for you, the corona regulations can also be implemented. In addition, there are disinfectants everywhere and there is plenty of space between the tables. We had half board, so we were allowed to try many delicious dishes. You can choose between four dishes. Before starters and soup, then dessert and, if desired, cheese. Every hunger and taste is served there😄 We would love to come back and feel very comfortable. The days passed too quickly.

I had booked a wellness weekend with my girls. Rooms and facilities are very nice and the service very friendly and courteous. Unfortunately the hotel uses every conceivable possibility to charge extra services. This turns a nice all-in booking into quite expensive fun. For example, although we only arrived on Friday at 3:00 pm, we had to pay a "late check-out" of 15.00 EUR per person on Sundays for two hours in the sun by the pool. We had already vacated the rooms at 10:00 o'clock. The investment of € 60.00 for a full body massage is also not recommended. Despite a clear indication, the therapist was not able to perform a sensible and tension-relieving muscle massage. Had that been known in advance; that only a "caressing massage" can be carried out here, we would have saved the booking. All in all, recommendable with reservations.

End of a love, alas. For years we have held an annual family reunion at the Hotel Lamm and we have always felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, our love suddenly died out this year. If you forgive the almost raw chicken nuggets for our son (that happens if you don't read the instructions for use for the convenience products), the behavior of the hotel management and some of the staff is incredible. I don't want to go into detail, but it is clear that this is where the limits of a family-run hotel in terms of professionalism and guest orientation reach their limits. We will not expose ourselves to that anymore. And: yes, masks are cumbersome, but have to be worn correctly these days for the sake of people. I kindly asked a waitress several times to wear the mask over her nose when she came to our table. The snotty answer: You don't wear a mask when you sit at the table ... but what was true, however, complied with the requirements of the health authorities, contrary to your behavior. And so a love comes to an end: Lamm Heimbuchenthal ... never again! Tip: Training trip for hotel management and staff to Dorint in Garmisch-Partenkirchen: because there you can experience what service and genuine friendliness can be. It's good that there are alternatives in life!

We spent a great long weekend there. Very attentive and friendly staff. Very clean, large and generously equipped rooms in a country style. The wellness area is also very clean and by no means overcrowded. Parking spaces available directly at the hotel and in the immediate vicinity. Directly connected hiking trails and the proximity to the moated castle, as well as other beautiful leisure opportunities in the vicinity easily accessible. All around a great weekend, thank you to everyone who made this possible for us.

But from our point of view this is worthwhile. Alone because of the wellness area. - very high drink prices For us all in all the best hotel we have stayed in so far. We were received very nicely. The rooms are really great. We had only booked half board for 3 nights. Since it was so great, on the day of departure we booked another 2 nights for the next week. This time only bed and breakfast. Because the dinner was very good but not always our cup of tea. The portions were also a bit small. When we made our second booking at the reception, we were offered a room with air conditioning, with the note that it would be very warm. We found that very accommodating. The breakfast was very rich. There was breakfast from the buffet but due to the current Corona regulations one was served. As a result, a queue formed occasionally at the buffet but that was absolutely acceptable. The wellness area is really great. Outdoor pool, indoor pool, whirlpool, saunas and lots of loungers for sunbathing. You can stay there all day. I can absolutely recommend this hotel. We will definitely not be there for the last time.

From now on we only go there .. it's just pure relaxation. Everything is just right for us there. I can only recommend it. Tip, book the junior suite in the Palais. Beautiful view and such a great bathroom with whirlpool and from there you can watch the stars in the evening while enjoying the bath.

Apart from the parking situation on a Sunday, it was very nice here. There is a large terrace and the inside where we sat is rustic and cozy. The Sunday menu for a house of this quality was inexpensive and delicious, regardless of whether it was rump steak, roast venison or robber schnitzel. Special requests were also received in a friendly manner. All in all well worth a visit.

Were invited here for dinner by my parents. Actually, this upscale gastronomy is less for us, but the great food and the friendliness of the staff were really great. The Sunday menu tasted really delicious and we also liked the ambience. The prices for a three-course Sunday menu surprised me positively. Only the parking situation was a bit annoying until we saw a sign that the building on the other side of the street also belongs to the hotel and there are more parking spaces, there was enough space.

The decor is getting a bit old. Staff totally friendly. There are some single rooms and meeting rooms. Well suited for seminars. The location is also highly recommended for short breaks or weekend trips for hikers.

It was a beautiful stay. I would like to come back here. Very friendly staff, great welcome, very good food, great accommodation and great application with excellent advice. I am completely thrilled. Keep it up.

Carefree package. We had an arrangement including 4 course menu and massage etc. Well recovered and super satisfied.

I was in the lamb for the first time over Whitsun. We really liked it (young family with a 6 months old child). A great breakfast buffet, a really nice wellness area, really delicious dinner and above all: very friendly and courteous staff. We will gladly come back.

Very well located, upscale, very well equipped with spa. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna as well, massages on request. Restaurant very clean, friendly staff, food very good with seasonal and regional cuisine. Rooms are modern with everything you need, differently equipped and large, depending on what building you are. Behind the house already starts a hiking trail, can also be used for short walks after the meal.

Rooms were ok. Food was great. Location is pretty nice. Services like swimming pool, sauna etc was plenty.

Very cozy and delicious The service was very friendly and attentive, even gluten and lactose free food was not a problem. The kitchen knew it. The meat and fish were not only extremely tasty and attractively prepared, but also very good quality. Also the appetizers, as in the photo were great.

Good hotel, friendly staff, nice surroundings and good food. One drawback - in summer the terrace is full of flies that rush to the food. On the other hand, something can easily be done!

I am still excited about this delicious meal .... The restaurant is very lovingly furnished and appealing. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was very tasty! Fresh vegetables and prepared with love. Here we were not for the last time ☺️.

I stayed here on a business trip and it was very nice. There was a lot of attention to detail in all of the interior decoration. It had a very historic feel I thought.
